Egypt

Egypt is a fascinating travel destination due to its contrasts. In the centre is the glamorous Nile with the noisy megacity of Cairo, a few hundred metres further 

on the silence of the desert. In 1992, we enjoyed a Nile cruise of several days from Luxor to Aswan with visits to many ancient Egyptian cultural sites in the immediate vicinity of the Nile. Some years later we went to Hurghada for a beach holiday.
